Both thermoplastic and thermoset powder in any color can be used to provide the desired smooth or textured finish. Prior to powder coating, all parts are thoroughly cleaned in a multistep cleaning process. The cleaning process used is specific to each part’s needs but may include descaling, iron phosphate wash, transition metal wash, and other degreasing and cleaning baths. Threaded areas or other features can be masked as specified.

With the ability to reclaim overspray powder, powder coating is a very efficient coating method that minimizes material waste. Powder coating provides a tougher and more consistent surface finish than many wet coating methods. We have both batch coating and conveyor coating capabilities designed to suit a range of production volumes and part sizes. Coatings can be tested for durability and adhesion using standard cross hatch and hardness pencil testing methods. Masking can be done as needed.

We are ISO 9001.2008 certified, certified by Caterpillar, and an Axalta (formerly DuPont) Star Coater. Multiple types of shipping and fulfillment services are available including JIT shipping and Kanban management.
